SR20DET JDM Engine Swap into a '91 NISSAN 240SX - Revised 10-05

MAC performed this SR20DET swap early in 2004. We started with a very nice and clean '91 240SX SE Coupe. The customer was interested in a clean swap, and we think this one speaks for itself. There was a challenge in adapting the A/C on this one, so we made adapters to mount the stock A/C compressor. From the heads-up display to the
A/C conversion, everything works, and works well. The car is daily driven, and has made trips to the west coast, and to Arizona. We will be seeing this car again soon to install a Kaaz LSD, and to improve the fuel system for more boost.

Revised 10-05 - The KAAZ turned into a Quaiffe, which we recently installed. A power increase was desired, so we added 550cc RC top-feed injectors, a JWT fuel rail, NISMO FPR, Z32 MAF with revised intake, an SAFC-2, and GReddy Profec-B Spec 2 boost controller with IR wheel mounted selector button. With the S-15 T-28 BB turbo, the car dynoed at 300 SAE WHP, and 300 ft./lb torque. This is a very nice runner, and wickedly fast.
